CREATING CONTENT THAT TELLS A COMPLEX STORY IN A SIMPLE AND ENGAGING WAY
WilderQuest is a fun and innovative children’s program designed to inspire love and care for nature. Its aim is to motivate and encourage children to learn about and experience the natural world, using a combination of digital and real-life encounters.
Our key challenge was to communicate the core purpose and outputs of the WilderQuest program, a complex and multi-layered educational program, in a way that engaged a broad and varied audience in multiple contexts . With numerous local and international stakeholders to consider, it was key to keep the message of WilderQuest simple, while supporting the Royal National Parks objective to position the programs global best practice.
To achieve immediate cut-through with our audience, we devised a simplified visual telling of the WilderQuest story: an animated infographic. The short form content ran for less than 3 minutes, and crossed multiple cultures and languages.
The animation was structured in a way to provide vital flexibility for the end user. We allowed for it to be supervened with more detailed information, depending on the arena.
