We’re thrilled to announce that History Will Be Kind has acquired Sydney-based brand and design agency DOUBLESTAR CO, marking an exciting new chapter in our evolution and strengthening our position as one of Australia’s leading independent agencies.

Since launching in 2014, we’ve consistently challenged the status quo, pushed creative boundaries and evolved to meet the changing needs of brands and the audiences they serve. This next step builds on that ambition, bringing together two teams united by a shared passion for bold thinking, brilliant creativity and work that delivers true business impact.

Co-founded by industry heavyweight Jye Smith, who joins HWBK as Executive Creative Director, DOUBLESTAR CO brings exceptional expertise across brand strategy, design, content, film and digital experiences. Together, we're connecting brand building with reputation-shaping communications, meaning our thinking can now start earlier and run deeper – from what a brand needs to stand for, through to how it shows up, the communications that earn it a place in hearts and minds, and how to win visibility, trust and conversion in a new AI world.
